We are a Pod of one.

I am running a pod of one. What’s a pod, you ask? As the definition says, it’s when home-schooled students are put into a makeshift group and parents take turns at different homes educating the kiddos and keeping them on track.
Pods have become quite popular during the pandemic. And just wait until September, when many schools will have limited openings or none at all. They will become all the rage, as they say.
Usually, there are a group of kids, but during the pandemic, I have found myself in a pod of one with my daughter, Amelia.
COVID-19 didn’t affect my wife’s job, but I wasn’t so lucky. And my daughter, who was in preschool, hasn’t seen her classmates since March. I was worried about her, especially since she is starting Kindergarten in September, so I decided to take matters into my own hands.
But she’s an only child, thus our Pod of One.
Join us on this adventure of education, fun, and surviving the mental and physical obstacles of a pandemic, one lesson at a time.
